My family and I would first like to thank all the applicants for sharing their compelling stories about how their personal journeys that has led them to Windsor University of School of Medicine.  This scholarship is in the memory of my deceased mother and I know that she would be so impressed with the level of commitment that each of you have shown in your pursuit of being doctors. I feel so overwhelmed that all I can offer is one scholarship yet so many of you are deserving of it. To those applicants who did not win please refrain from thinking that winning is an indication about being unqualified but instead that we only have 1 scholarship right now so I ask that you please just indicate that you are interested in applyling next semester and you will be exempt from sending in a new application.
